   تأسست شركة ميثاق للتأمين التكافلي في 11 مارس 2008 كشركة تكافل مسجلة ومرخصة في الإمارات العربية المتحدة برأس مال يبلغ 150.000.000 درهم إماراتي.

إن كلمة اتفاقية، بالنسبة لشركة ميثاق، لا تعني مجرد مسمى ولكنها الهدف من الحياة في جوهرها. إن رؤيتنا الأساسية تستند إلى اتفاق يرمز إلى السلام والقسم العام بأن نعتني ببعضنا البعض. ومن ثم فقد نشأت شركة ميثاق للتأمين التكافلي باعتبارها شركة تأمين إسلامية ارتكزت على أرض صلبة تتبنى مبادئ الشريعة وتلتزم بالقواعد والتشريعات التي حددها القانون الإسلامي.

تمثل شركة ميثاق للتأمين التكافلي مفهوم إدارة المخاطر والذي يستند إلى التبادلية والشراكة. إنها توحد الناس في جهد مشترك نحو تأمين مصالح الكل وذلك من خلال جمع التبرعات التي يمكن استخدامها لصالح القلة غير المحظوظة.

لقد دخلت شركة ميثاق للتأمين التكافلي الآن في طور التشغيل بداية من الأول من فبراير لعام 2009. ويبرز الانطلاق التشغيلي للشركة أول معلم هام نحو تحقيق رؤية ميثاق والتي تتمثل في تقديم خدمات التأمين العامة للعملاء من الشركات والأفراد والتي يتم تقديمها من خلال العديد من جهات التوزيع.

   Methaq means Agreement- Our philosophy is therefore based on the common understanding that an agreement is the basis of all progress and business. Takaf or Joint Guarantee happens successfully only with the presence of solid agreements, that Methaq is keen on establishing with all stakeholders.

Agreeing is the starting point of everything. It is based on Understanding, sharing and trust, plus proper and clear documentation like policies – contracts and agreements. The delivery of one's agreement is the ending point. If this delivery is well executed, it will generate satisfaction that will trigger more profound relations with stakeholders.

Methaq Takaful Insurance Company is a registered and licensed General Takaful Company in the United Arab Emirates. It takes the form of a UAE public shareholders company.

Its capital is 150,000,000 AED.

The objective of the Company is to offer Individuals and Corporations a complete range of high quality, flexible, integrated, Shariah-compliant insurance products & services, in association with selected Distribution Partners.

Methaq insurance and investment activities are conducted in accordance with Shariah guidelines, under the supervision of the Fatwa and Shariah Supervisory Board whose members are specialists in Islamic economics and Shariah transactions.
